The Plan that knew the Fall

We all know the scene: a crowd, a trap, and a single silver coin. When the Pharisees tried to corner Jesus with a question about taxes, they thought they were playing politics. They didn’t realize they were being handed a masterclass in identity.
Jesus held up that Roman denarius and asked, “Whose image is this?” It’s the most famous setup in history, but we usually stop at the surface. We think it’s about money. It isn’t. It’s about ownership.
If the coin belongs to Caesar because his face is on it, then where does that leave you? If you were to look in the mirror right now, whose “stamp” would you see?
We spend our lives feeling like we belong to our jobs, our mistakes, or our bank accounts. But there is an original “minting” of the human soul that goes back way before Rome, and way before your current struggle.
